No earlier help article is required. You can start here.

Start with a brief

Open Home and choose Prompt to video. Describe the audience, message and result you want in Video brief. Add your sources, review the creation settings, then use the plan to check the direction before production.

What you can create

Start with an idea, script, URL, document, image, audio clip or recording. Ask for an explainer, product walkthrough, presenter video, scripted conversation or another treatment that fits the message. ngram can combine footage, narration and explanatory graphics in the same video.

The main places you will use

  • Home: start a video from a brief and sources, or choose a style.
  • Conversation: review the plan, watch the result and request revisions through chat or Make changes.
  • Projects: find and reopen your videos and other saved work.
  • Video settings: adjust the available creative settings for the conversation.
  • Editor tools: make direct changes when the control you need is available for the current video.

Before you start

Sign in, prepare a brief and use source material you have permission to share. Review the available settings and credit estimate for the video you want to create.

Create a first video

  1. Open Home and choose Prompt to video.
  2. Write the audience, message and closing action in Video brief. Add files or a source URL when the video needs supporting material.
  3. Review Model, Voice, Presenter, Length and Format. Choose Create video.
  4. Read the plan and ask for corrections when needed. Choose Approve plan when the direction is ready.
  5. Play the result, request a targeted change if needed, then share or download using the available controls.

How work is saved

Return to the conversation from Projects to continue reviewing or editing. Earlier video outputs and saved checkpoints serve different purposes: an output lets you review a result, while Saved versions provides restore and fork actions for project checkpoints.

If a control or result is missing

Confirm the active account or team, reopen the same conversation from Projects, and read its latest message. It may be waiting for approval or another input. Use Help or contact Support if the task remains blocked.
