  1. Revise a generated video

Check sound and captions on the selected preview before preparing a download. Captions start off and can be turned on whenever you want. Use the preview controls, open the editor, or ask for a revision in chat.

Before you start

Open the finished conversation from Projects and select the intended output. Replay the affected passage with device audio enabled. Note whether the problem appears in the preview or only in a downloaded file, and review any credit estimate before requesting a generated change.

Depth emphasis and ordinary captions

Depth Captions highlights selected words behind a large presenter’s head and shoulders. It is part of the scene’s visual treatment, separate from the regular subtitle track. Choose Depth Captions style or request the effect in chat; turn ordinary captions on separately with the controls below. For a simpler result, ask for plain subtitles and no behind-presenter emphasis.

Turn captions on or off

  1. Open a completed conversation and select the output to use.
  2. Choose Edit video, then Captions.
  3. Choose a caption style to enable captions, or select None to keep them off. New videos start with captions off.
  4. Close the Captions dialog to apply the choice, then replay the result.
  5. Download after confirming the caption setting.

Revise audio

Ask in chat for a narration or music change, identifying the relevant section and what should stay. Separate voiceover and music switches are useful only when the output has separate audio tracks; they cannot independently control sounds already mixed into one track.

If a control is missing

Check that a completed output is selected. Captions start off, so check the Captions setting first. Separate audio controls depend on the available audio tracks. If a control is missing or a change does not apply, describe the problem in chat or contact Support with the project URL.

Use the editor for a direct change

Choose Edit on an editable video when you need to adjust its layers or timing directly. Follow the controls in the editor you have opened, then replay the affected passage. Use chat for a change to the narration, music, or overall treatment when a direct control is unavailable.

Change subtitles or words inside a scene

Subtitles and scene text serve different purposes. Use the caption controls for the spoken wording. For a title, label, or other text inside the picture, identify the scene and exact words in chat or select the editable text layer through Edit. Check the correct words and layer changed before downloading.

Check the result

Play the selected output through the affected passage. Confirm narration, music balance, caption wording, and the following transition. Prepare a new download after the preview matches the intended result.

If sound or captions remain wrong

  1. Keep the project and note the affected timestamp. Check device audio and whether the issue also appears in the preview.
  2. Open Edit video and check the available caption and audio controls. Separate track switches only affect compatible tracks that exist in this output.
  3. If the content itself needs a change, send one targeted request in chat and review the result before asking again.
  4. If the issue persists, contact Support with the project URL, timestamp, visible error or unavailable control, browser, and whether the downloaded file differs from the preview.

Audio and captions FAQ

Why does my finished video have no voiceover?

Check device audio and the Voiceover control under Edit video when it is available. A separate switch requires a compatible voiceover track. If the narration is missing from the selected output, describe the affected passage in chat; contact Support if a targeted correction does not resolve it.

How do I turn my script into voiceover?

For a new video, include the approved script in Video brief and choose a Voice before creating it. For an existing video, request the narration change in its conversation and identify the passage and wording to use.

How do I make the background music quieter?

Ask in chat to lower the background music in the affected passage while keeping the narration clear. Use the available audio controls to turn a separate music track on or off, then replay the result.

Why are captions missing or out of sync?

New videos start with ordinary captions off. Open Edit video → Captions to enable them, then replay the current output. If the words or timing remain wrong after a targeted correction, contact Support with the affected timestamp.

Why is an audio control unavailable?

Separate Voiceover, Background music, and Sound effects controls require compatible tracks in the selected output. They cannot independently control sounds already mixed into one track. Confirm that the completed output is selected before requesting help.

How do I edit subtitles and text inside the picture?

Use the caption controls for subtitles. For a title or label inside a scene, name the words and timestamp in chat or use Edit to select the editable text layer. Replay the passage before downloading.

How do I replace music in a finished video?

Request the replacement in chat and identify the passage, mood, and anything that should stay. If the preview offers a background-music selection, use that control and review the result before downloading.
